Τσέχο-Καναδός ζωγράφος, γραφίστας και εικονογράφος, μέλος της ομάδας Hollar.Γεννήθηκε στις 30 Μαΐου 1935 στο Chatham του Καναδά. Ο James Janicek ξεκίνησε την καλλιτεχνική του καριέρα ενώ σπούδαζε στη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών της Εταιρείας Τεχνών και Χειροτεχνίας στο Ντιτρόιτ και συνέχισε στην Ακαδημία Καλών Τεχνών υπό την καθοδήγηση των V. Pukla, V. Sychra και V. Silovsky. Σήμερα είναι μέλος της ομάδας γραφιστών Hollar και του Czech Fine Arts Fund. Biography:

Czech-Canadian painter, graphic artist and illustrator, member of the Hollar group. He was born on May 30, 1935 in Chatham, Canada. James Janicek began his artistic career while studying at the Art School of the Society of Arts and Crafts in Detroit, and continued at the Academy of Fine Arts under the guidance of V. Pukla, V. Sychra and V. Silovsky. Today he is a member of the group of graphic artists Hollar and the Czech Fine Arts Fund. Apart from the artistic graphics, she also dedicates his work to postage stamps and book illustrations.

Ο Karel Demel γεννήθηκε στις 28 Φεβρουαρίου 1942 στην Πράγα.Σπούδασε τούμπα, κοντραμπάσο και τρομπόνι στο Κρατικό Ωδείο της Πράγας και αργότερα στην Ακαδημία Τεχνών, Αρχιτεκτονικής και Σχεδίου της Πράγας στο στούντιο των καθηγητών Zdeňek Sklenář και Jiří Anderle. Biography:

Karel Demel was born on February 28, 1942 in Prague.He studied tuba, double bass and trombone at the Prague State Conservatory and later at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague in the studio of Prof. Zdeňek Sklenář and Jiří Anderle. He is an excellent artist draftsman and one of the most important Czech graphic artists of his generation. The main inspiration for his work is music and poetry. He uses a combination of different techniques such as drypoint, engraving, etching and aquatint. He is a member of the Hollar Graphic Artists Association.
